The W.F. Ramsey Unit recently hosted the Out of the Darkness suicide awareness program, bringing staff, inmates, and volunteers together to focus on hope, healing, and mental health awareness.

The day included a walk led by Senior Warden Caleb Brumley, along with testimonials, educational and mental health resources, and positive activities. MERIT also had a table set up, helping spread awareness and share resources with those on the unit.

We are grateful to be part of an event that reinforces an important message: every life is valuable.
